Responsibilities:  

·         Interview and gather content from Account Managers and Product Specialists to produce needed documentation to support software deployments.

o        User Guides & Manuals

o        Quick Start Guides

o        Product Briefs

o        Technical Specifications

o        Installation Guides

o        Internal Training Guides

·         Own and manage all documentation content and versioning using document management system.

·         Develop policies and procedures around production and delivery of product documentation.

·         Document processes for all areas of the business

·         Assist in developing internal training program via production of employee training guides.

We seek an outstanding full-time Java developer.  The developer will work in a rapid development environment where results are quickly visible.

Candidates must be team players and have the ability to work independently without requiring micromanagement.  Good communication skills and the ability to listen are also required.

Required Qualifications:

·         1 to 5 years of Java development experience (Java + JSP)

·         Understanding of object oriented concepts, design patterns, and various open-source toolkits and frameworks

·         Familiarity with all aspects of software development life cycle (SDLC)

·         Strong SQL skills

·         Solid English language skills

·         Ability to plan, work and report through self initiative

Preferred Skills:

·         Java EE experience

·         Familiarity with Oracle SQL Server

·         A thorough understanding of distributed systems and clustering mechanisms is a plus

·         Knowledge of source revision control (CVS, SVN, etc)

Education/Experience:

·         Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline.  Graduate Degree a plus.

·         Practicing developer with 1-5 years experience

·         Experience with structured methodologies (Agile) preferred.
